The wire on my Arc have been pulled and the insulation is missing leading to it short circuiting. I am hoping to dismantle and repair it but can't seem to find a way in, can anyone help?

Yes exactly the same happened on mine. I took it apart resoldered the connections but its a deadun, so gave my battery to the wife so she has two now!

Madison's Light & Motion warranty/service is really, really good. They carry a whole host of spares. If I was you I'd both try and get them returned to Madison via your friendly LBS. There's a good chance they'll get refurbed and returned to you as good as new.
