Anyone spotted any amazing deals on <£400 - £500 Womens MTB's
Friend is looking for a MTB for his SO.
Something entry level but a proper HT MTB not a BSO. Will be off road but mostly fire track use to start (think Wyre Forrest blue route etc). She's 5'6" so probably a medium.
Just wondering if anyone has seen anything barginous recently.
Definitely under £500, Preferably under £400.
I've seen a couple of entry level Spec Mykas which is what I bought for my SO and would recommend but was wondering if any one had seen any amazing deals out there.
Cheers

Mine is the old one though.
Which is better.
Coz it's red.
and 26".
Oldschool. It's how I roll.
EDIT: Just realised it's for a lady. Voodo Soukri then?

I'd just look for bargains in smaller sizes and budget for a saddle change. A ladies model mostly appears to mean pink butterflies, pink grips and a ladies saddle (maybe pastel blue instead of pink)
Plenty in that price range on Pauls Cycles
Ladies' specific bikes are not necessary, with the exception of the saddle. My bikes are not female-specific. Just go for the best deal you can get on any bike of the correct size, whether marketed at men or women.
We have a Scott Contessa 610 in almost new condition up for grabs, subtle colours but definitely WSD in geo, saddle, etc. Size is medium. Email in profile for details.
Just clicked into Pauls for a quick browse. The first bike on there is a Giant Tempt with "Tektro HDC 290 Women's Specific hydraulic disc". What on earth can be female specific about a disk brake?
Smaller levers maybe?
Pink?
Or both?
A solution looking for a problem!
