[Closed] Anyone seen this before fox rear shock damage

Hi
the lower dust seal my mates rp2 shock wasn't seated so i ordered a seal kit and found this on strip down,
the lower ring has partly torn away from the body the silver you can see is where the damage is, it was working fine and has been like this for a while any ideas why this could of happened ?

Yep, seen it on a mates bike, who just didn't service / oil the sleeve often enough. TF Tuned serviced and fitted a new sleeve.

Negative pressure bent seal groove, possibly faulty main air seal, like when they 'stick down' new air can and air seals will sort it, have seen a few do this

Another one here...happened on my rp23. Used as a nice excuse for a kashima upgrade 😀
