saw a breezer lightning in Evans today.
got to be honest, i normally like retro looking stuff, but it looks cheap and not very nice.
Shame 🙁 I have really fond memories of being loaned one for a weekend by Marin's distributor at the time, early 1990s, fully rigid, lovely blue and white paint job and very sweet handling. Times change, I guess.
I quite like the 29er
Joe Breeze sold the company a few years ago. He discusses it in an [url= http://www.bikecommuters.com/2010/12/13/an-interview-with-joe-breeze-of-breezer-bicycles/ ]interview[/url] from around that time.
In the later years that he owned the Breezer brand, they focused on commuter bikes. They didn't make mountain bikes at all IIRC. Mountain bikes reappeared with the Breezer name under the new owner.
I chatted to joe in Berlin, nice guy, but nowhere near as crazy as I hoped.
I like the steel 29er...
