Ardent 2.4 front and Ardent 2.25 rear, mate running these and swears by them seems to have good grip in corners and under braking and don't seem to drag anyone with experience of this set up would be appreciated
They're a classic love/hate tyre I think. Typical maxxis bald patch that means they don't grip unless you lean them right over. Great for going fast probably but clumping round muddy forests was 'orrible with one on the front.
29er 2.4 up front here, tubeless - far more grippy than I expected in winter.
Just picked up a 2.25 Ardent for the rear, will be using a 2.4 HR2 tomorrow with it.
Hope it is better than the previous ADvantage in the wet.
2.4 both ends, great here as the dust doesn't really clog the tyre....
Naughty boy mike. I am looking at an Ardent for the front. Liking the SB8 onthe rear ay present.
Was a bit too warm yesterday at 37 degrees!
Tyres so good i had to repeat myself.
