Do they fit? Fed up with the SKS Race Blades which have never quite fitted the fork properly!
Er, full gurds fit perfectly on my SCR (alloy).
Presume you mean carbon frames? In which case, no idea..!
Sorry, should have said, it's the carbon fork that's the real worry. Al frame, but pretty tight clearances on the carbon fork. Not sure a full SKS mudguard will fit, and the Crud ones look pretty good to me.
A mod you may like to consider once fitted is to extend the rear mudguard down to bottom bracket. Fitted as standard, on my bike, any water I ride through gets flung straight onto my calves and chain too, not nice. I cut a length of old sks mudguard and used the little bit of the race guard as a template to cut and drill one end of the sks extension. This gave a good fit to the big bit of race guard. Works great now.
Hi ..Yes im running them on my scr .. fit fine even on the odd shaped fork legs ! ... really good guards
ps I've fitted the race guards to a bike with easton ec90slx carbon forks, not known for vast amounts of clearance but they fit fine,so hopefully yours will be fine too.
One good thing I've noticed is that the little stick on pads do a good job of keeping the rims clean, not sure how long they will last though but Crud will send new ones foc I'm told.
sorry, when I say "Race Guard" of course I mean "Crud Road Racers".
I was really concerned about the fit (Kinesis RC2 frame and ITM forks) but plumped up and bought them thinking that I could modify them if they didn't
really tight fit, but only a slight mod needed where I've zipped the end of the rear guard to the seat tube to stop it rubbing
even if you can get the guard under the chainstay bridge/ fork leg bridge without it rubbing, if it's tight it may distort the guard so that it rubs elsewhere
I had to do the zip tie round the front brake very tight to pull it away from the tyre and this has meant it's twisted and is on the piss a bit at the front
