I have a 29er version and the travel I believe can be reduced to 120mm internally. Fox said no parts were needed and they can make the change when the forks are serviced in a week or 2.

Hi

Ive  got a 36 Talas (150-135)

The lower travel can be adjusted using spacers.

I run it at the lower setting most of the time and just go to full travel for big descents.

Not sure that helps?

Cheers

Steve

You'll not be able to run a 2018 36 at that travel.. possibly 140 but certainly not 130mm yet as afaik Fox havent made that lower airshaft length yet.

2016/2017 you can add alloy spacers to the air shaft rather than having to replace teh lower shaft

no, 150mm for me, new airshaft required on 2018.   anything 140mm or below I don't think you would see the benefit of a beefier stanchions i.e comparing fox 34 to 36,
