I am thinking getting a carbon version of the frame and wondered what the ride is like with the longer fork? The chap at the LBS told me the suspension is taught rather than plush. Any comments?

Cheers

Started off with Revs at 150mm then dropped them down to 130mm. The drop has speeded up the handling, which works better for the type of riding I do.

I have no idea what taught / plush means.

140mm Talas on mine run with only about 20mm sag, I also run around 40% sag on the rear so the feeling is a little softer, great handling bike. My talas used to be 130mm and since extending to 140 I can't tell any difference apart from obviously taking bigger hits a bit better. Really great fun blasting down hill set up like this.
