**BB Shell is 73mm so no room for extra spacers**

BB adapter using an ISG05 chain device, fouls on the granny tabs

Anyone have any solutions? Anything i could have done wrong? How easy is it to grind off the granny tabs on an SLX crank?

And which way should the bb adapter go - flat side out or flat side towards the frame?

I had the same problem on a 73mm BFe with an old Hone chainset. As it was old I just filed the granny tabs off which only took a few minutes. Didnt try/recall the adapter you mention

I recall that I had to use about 3-4mm of washers between the device and the isg mount for each bolt in order to space it out correctly over the chain when in the middle ring position on those Hones. All a bit odd but worked flawlessly once past this initial faff

My frame doesn't have an ISG mount so the superstar device comes with an adapter that sits between the bb and the bb shell - this has the tabs on it. The device then screws to that.
one side is flat the other is concave. Not sure which side fits against the bb and which side fits against the frame as no instructions are included

semi sorted - the granny tabs are rubbing like **** but i will sort that. Most annoying thing now is that the chain is rubbing inside cage on the top guide when in the largest ring (36t) on the cassette. It is like the cranks need to be 2mm or so outbut that would leave the NDS skewed

which way should the bb adapter go

The flat side should face outwards towards the crank.

On mine I hack-sawed a bit off the upper guide as well to stop it fouling in the 36T.
