im going to Morzine with a small group of lads this summer and fancy trying Samoens for the day as its only a 40 min drive.
Im just trying to gauge some of your thoughts if its worth the trip down.
We will be all on 160mm trail bikes and all pretty competent rides other than one (sheppy) (i know he will be reading this the little troll!

OP, search around it was discussed a few weeks ago. Simple answer is yes. There is also a cracking 1200m descent from above Les Gets at Lac Joux Plan down into Samoens, you need a cab/transport back up as the Samoens lifts run the other side the valley so won't get you back to Les Gets. Again that route is discussed on other threads.
