Last weekend before Bigdog and I am off to see my folks in Cambridge which is not ideal in terms of preparation for the short climbs that we will be up against. Going to stick a bike in the back of the car (either CX or SS) and looking to head out for a half day's riding.
Not been to Thetford and not done much of the "singeltrack" in the local area so a guide would be good if anyone is about or keen to head out?

There isn't much to the local 'singletrack' mostly farm trails that can be clay so when dry and cut up are pretty terrible to ride. Depends where you are staying but CX/roadie are likely to be your best bet.
Sprint training a-plenty on the Guided busway if you fancy chasing Strava segments?
