Hi orange say they are sold out do you know any dealers with one in to look at plus if you have one what do think and how heavy are they roughly cheers.
I’m also interested in this. I love the look of the Speedwork, though I think it’s underspecced for the price.
I’d be interested to read anyone impressions.
"Underspecced for the price" could be Orange's company motto.
Absolutely. It's marginally better species than my 340 quid go outdoors commuter.
I think no one having stock is god's way of trying to tell you something.
That does look massively overpriced. Even has an SRAM powerspline BB. Which is basically an updated Isis BB and equally as bad. Personally I'd build something up from eBay/parts for a much cheaper price.
Having said that it may ride awesomely.
This gets you complete Shimano 105, hydraulic brakes and saves £100
... it does have a press fit BB though...
Canyon looks good also found Scott metrix just fancy a change of commuter bike from drops to flat bars.

I thought Powerspline died out in the mid 2000s 😀
I've ordered one. I'll let you know how it goes.
I enquired about them on here a couple of years back. Consensus was it is an older model clockwork with a cheap carbon fork bunged on. Does look nice though. I also like the look of the Rondo Booz, but again it seems overpriced.
I love the look of that Canyon you posted qwerty. If they did that in a 1x12 I think i'd be snapping it up.
The original was certainly an old Clockwork with rigid forks. New one is maybe something else?
New one is definitely something else. 2020 model looks like a flat barred road bike rather than an awkwardly long AC forked MTB. 2020 model looks nice (poor quality components aside) and I personally wouldn't need the dinner plate rear cog as I don't ride up vertical roads.
2019

2020

I opted to order this over a sonder Camino because it looks better, seemed vaguely similar spec, will fit better and Sonder were a bit short on customer service. I may be wrong about everything.
They're both good bikes, I'm sure you'll enjoy riding the Orange. After a couple of winters all the moving parts will have seized and fallen off anyway so you might as well get a frameset you like the look and ride of.
I've got the grey one bought it when they first came out back in 2017 I think and love it. I managed to get the shop to upgrade the brakes for free when buying it. I wish I had waited a little longer for the frame only deals to appear so that I could have chosen what parts to use. Such is life though. I don't rate the stock wheels and I am planning on upgrading them. If I could change one thing about the model I have, it would be the tyre clearance. I can only fit 29x2 tyres. I would like space for 29x2.25. I looked at the latest model and I think it has even less tyre clearance.
I got my 2020 model a couple of weeks ago. It's a significant upgrade from any bike I've ever had so it's easy to love. The HT will remain good for bouncing on the bings and Pentlands and the Orange perfect for commuting, long rides and trundles withe kids. It's true that the drive chain and breaks might be a bit lightweight for DH play but they're fine for a gravel bike. I got mine for £980 so, having done a rudimentary tot up of the component prices and the fact that it should hold value, I'm content with my purchase.
Where did you order it from, I've been vaguely searching for one of these in the last week, but couldn't find anyone with stock

sub 1:1 is useless on tarmac, should have given it a bigger chain ring which would apporach road bike top end for the very fit, pedal mashers and people who have long tarmac descents.
NickC - I ordered it from Sunset Cycles (great customer SERVICE) . A week later they sold out. They only ever seemed to stock XL versions. I'm not sure they're available anywhere now. My first choice was Sonder Camino flat bar but they were even more elusive.
I said I'd come back and let you know how I got on with the speedwork. Great frame, great wheels, good geo, fast, wheels good, tyres great, breaks adequate... SRAM 1*12 is a total diva constantly seeking attention.
Thanks locum
I'm still wistfully thinking about this bike. What sort of riding do you mostly use it for? Commuting? Fun? On or off road?
I’ve got the 2019 version but it’s the same as the 2018, and as my commuter it’s a great bike, I use it for quick canal rides, or just work.
The only downside is mudguards, it has no mounts to fit them which is a bit crap. But the stock older bike does everything and nearly 2 years so far I haven’t had a puncture or flat, the tyres may look chunky and heavy they seem fully puncture proof (flat tyre in the morning).
Interested in the new one as it seems more gravel than commute on the road.
The Sonder customer service was OK tbh. It was during early lock down when I was looking for a faster bike. Sunset Cycles were just a bit more precise with delivery details. I use it for commuting and long NCN rides. It's about 12kg.
