yep got a mokihinui, some really good bits, makes a nice singlespeed, light, handles really well, the gear cable run is woeful though so maybe not the best if you wanted to run gears

Bloody hell that looks good, although I'd need gears

you can fit them, but for some reason there is a old skool cable stop and then the old plastic dohickey under the bb. when a couple of zip tie mounts would let you run a fully enclosed gear cable. you would need some bolt on p clips to make it tidy, which is a bit rubbish on an otherwise lovely bike

Shame they’re not boost as It means I’d need new wheels.

I've also got a Mokihinui, running gears. I drilled out the cable stops to run a full length outer which was a minor inconvenience. Otherwise, it rides well for trails and bikepacking and looks cool / different to boot 😁

I used split cables as running full outer cables clog up and found split cables easier to clean and oil... the plastic thingy like Taz mentioned can be fitted in 2 positions.

It was tough but I wanted a format that was common to Single-speed and internal hub gears.. I have some 135mm RocknRollout dropouts coming to allow for 2nd hand market Rohloff and Alfine hubs.

That’s the nicest looking bike I’ve seen in a while. Could I run it geared? My AXS kit would be better in that than my Enduro that hardly gets pedalled.

There is a great February 2022 20% off deal on the frame and fork bundle at the moment that has me tempted.

However my current long distance rig is a 19" Stanton Sherpa Gen 2 with a rigid fork which I love riding (although it can give me numb hands). I love Ti bikes though and this has me thinking about a frame swap... Madness or not?

I can't make sense of the geo though and there is no effective top tube measurement on the site. The reach on my 19" Sherpa is 438mm whereas the Large Olsen is 450mm and the medium is 430mm. The Bike Perfect review says this is a bike you sit 'on' rather than 'in' which is the only thing that puts me off. Would any owners agree with this?

My Sherpa is pretty plush and comfy but I run it 27.5+ so low pressures do help. The only thing I don't like is how much of the paint gets scraped off it in the winter. No such issues with Ti!

I like a bike that's lively in the woods, good on the scrambly steep climbs, but is quite happy plodding along 100 miles of bridleway too.

It's not a LLS type frame, rather more of an all-rounder which is why I got mine - to nip around the local trails but also go bikepacking etc. It's a similar vibe to the Sonder Broken Road.

The large feels fine to me, with a fairly neutral position. I did need a longer Gusset Lofty seatpost as the Olsen Ribber was too short. Plenty of post in the frame now!

That is a lovey looking bike. Nice straight lines and no fuss. @tazzymtb you must have a great collection of bikes. The Olsen and the various Stooges. Any other lovely Ti goodness?
