Hi All,
As the title says has anyone had a go, or got one yet?
Great bikes in 26 & 29, wonder if this version is as much fun.

Dont really have the funds right now, but in my mind Im weighing this up against the Stumpy 650b and Whyte T130s.

I just had a quick look at the specs and geometry on the Specialized website. Can't say I'm that blown away by them to be honest. All models seem rather underspecced for the money which sadly seems to be a regular thing with Specialized now. Its a shame they've done away with the Evo versions too.

I might go and speak to my LBS about stock levels for the 2015 Camber Evo as I've had my eye on one for a while.

Need to see one in the flesh but I preferred the fluro yellow of last years to the plain red.
If your looking for a cheap deal Edinburgh cycles have the 2014 Evo for £1350.

Devash- all of them are equivalent to the evo geometry of old with wider bars, short stems etc. etc.

They are awfully expensive, though, as are most Specialized bikes these days.

Thanks for the heads up on the 2014 Evo but I'd be after a large frame and they only have small and medium left.

My current bike is a 26" Camber with fluro green paint so quite fancied the fluro yellow too. 😆

On second viewing the 2016 carbon models do look nice, if a little understated paintwork wise, but far too pricey.

I might have to have a serious think about the T130s as well.

@munrobiker - my bad, just confirmed that you are right. I thought the 2015 evo models were a little slacker for some reason. The new 2016 ones are slacker than the 2015 evos it seems.

2014 evo only 1350? I paid 2200 for one from Leisure Lakes in July last year. Ripped off?

I was hoping they'd bring out a 650b camber. I think I've just discovered what second hand trail bike frame I'll be buying in a few years is. Sweeeeeeeeet 🙂

You could probably have bought the 2014 one for £1300 in July last year or you can probably have the 2016 one for £1300 next July. 😉

Because it's 2 years old and the shop are desperate to get rid of it as a guess.

Yeah need to move the old stock. Its a good buy lots of 2nd hand ones for sale at more money, am not anti 29, if I was taller Id go for it but they just seem a bit unwieldy for me. Im down in the 26/27.5 scale for sure.

Leftyboy, how do you find the paint-job holding up on your Whyte? One thing I heard is that the paint seemed a bit 'thin'. Does it stand up to the wear & tear well?
