Anyone found an effective way of getting hold of Bikester. Sent a pricey item back >2 months ago under warranty repair, they acknowledged receipt but not a pip since and not responding to any emails asking for progress/return of replacement item. This duration is well beyond any Covid issues and involves several £'00s
No contact numbers on website. Is this just buyers beware of Bikester?
No but your post fills me with dread having just returned some shoes under warranty.
Yes, had excellent service from them recently.
Bought a Topeak race rocket mt from them a few months ago, it got wet and became really sticky.
Emailed them, they replied asking for photos/videos, which I did.
They then replied quickly to say my replacement was on the way and I didn’t have to sent the faulty one back.
Thoroughly excellent service. I got the new pump a few days later.
Card or PayPal charge back, if you haven't left it too late!
Slating them on Trustpilot often gets their attention.
They have responded quickly to messages about my shoe warranty return and sent over the returns label so that side was fine. Not heard anything since shipping the shoes back to them. Kind of annoying that they had to go back before getting a resolution as the photos clearly showed the fault and an in person inspection is not going to show anything extra. Going back to worn out shoes temporarily is annoying.
I sent a video of the faulty Reverb (Stealth C1 sagging - new air bleed valve and tool didn't help) and after prompting they said return. Bikester were good sending labels to post back etc.. and acknowledged receipt of the Reverb .... but then nothing. Numerous prompts and finally Bikester said they had decided it couldn't be repaired (but didn't tell me) and had refunded me the money (they hadn't). Bit more chasing and they promptly refunded the money and apologised.
So all's well that ends well 🙂 but they did need chasing and when it's £300 ...
Glad to hear you got it resolved. I'm still on the radio silence stage unfortunately!
@nixie, Bikester do take 3 weeks minimum to deal with returns, as stated on their website and I think they only respond to contact via their 'Contact Form' and not to email replies.
@nickingsley interesting, thanks. Haven't found any mention of that on their site (or emails). I have had replies to emails rather than the contact form however that was with a case number.
Edit: Ah found some bits on the contact form (but not the warranty/returns section helpfully). 10 working days from arrive to process returns and 3 weeks to process complaints.
