Lever has gone floppy and it won't lock in position. Tried taking it back as it has a 2 years guarantee but wouldn't accept it without the receipt.
Bank or credit card statements showing the perchase will suffice as proof of purchase. Can you find those?
Do you have a Decathlon Loyalty Card - your receipt will be stored in your account !
Buy another give it an hour and take it back?
Aren't they discontinued now?

Loyalty card has been discontinued.

Yeah as mentioned it's discontinued. It was only £30 so its not really the money back that I want, it's more of is there a way to fix it?
I seem to remember someone posting instructions on here on how to repair them. I saved it in my favourites as I have one too, but surprise surprise since the forum 'upgrade' all my favourites have vanished.
The sealing is shite and the channel on the head area funnels all the gritty water in to the pin actuator under the lever. Once you have freed it up, fill that channel with silicone right up to the lever and cover the pin underneath in thick marine grease!
Drift the roll pin out of the the lever. If the the pin underneath is stuck down (it will be) flush it out with WD40 and leave to soak for a while. Use a mallet or whatever soft percussive tool you have (the end of the post is soft alloy so don't go full gorilla on it) and tap on the bottom of the post, the pin should eventually work it's way up out of the hole. When you get it partially out, squirt more oil in and move it up and down (you will have to work it loose with a combination of pulling and tapping on the bottom of the post), being careful not to let it stick all the way back in. Rinse and repeat till you get full travel and smooth operation.
So I finally got round to this. It was as you say, completely gunged up. Drifted roll pinout, pin stuck. Penetrating fluid + time eventually got it moving but unfortunately the same problem remains - presumably the pin should have some pressure behind it forcing it upwards? doesn't feel like there is anything holding it up or down.
Is this the super cheap crotch grab actuated one?
