Hi guys

My six year old has just progressed to red route mtb, he really could do with some decent protection as he scares the life out of me. I am really struggling to find what would fit him. He is currently using normal cycle helmet but would like more base of skull protection, as for knee/elbow we did try those cheap £14.99 sets off ebay, but too uncomfortable.

Any help would be most appreciated, price is not really an issue as I want him to be safe.

I got mine an armoured top at that age, plus MX trousers - we went to Chicksands a lot, so came in very handy.

This kind of thing:

Still got it if you are interested?

Also wore a FF helmet.

Looks overkill, but it meant that when he fell he didn't really hurt himself - especially on gravel and the like.

I've bought fox peewee elbow pads off eBay and fox small youth knee pads this week. My 7yr old hasn't worn them yet so don't yet know how comfy they are.
