Thinking of painting a poc helmet, I quite fancy some old school flake! Anyhoo, my question is, does anyone have any experience in painting polycarbonate. Before everyone tells me not to do it, I'm only going to paint the outside not the styrene part, the pro's do it so why can't i. Painting stuff for 30 years, so know how to paint just have no knowledge of painting plastic! If it was a motorbike helmet I would do it all in 2k, do I need to use an adhesion promoter or non solvent based paints . Burn me now if you want!!!
A friend Vinyl wrapped someone's full face black helmet in leopard print. He had a shock when he got it out (S****) at antor stiniog.
Tbh it looked rather good. You can also undo it easily
