Are they any good? What is the sizing like? Have seen one, near mint, standard specs as in the link below. The bike is a 15" and i am 5'8"

Or should i keep my Stiffee instead?

My wife owns a merida cx bike, and I’ve ridden half a dozen or so mtbs, varying in price from £800 upwards.

all have ridden well and look good in the flesh.

Sorry I can’t be more specific re that particular machine.

have you tried googling to see how much it can be bought new for? That may give you ammunition to haggle, after all, even £30 off is the price of a replacement tyre/saddle etc.

I'd say it's too small for you. I'm 5'9 and on the 19"/large 800.
Lovely bike. Very similar feel to my old Stifee, but longer/slacker and with much bigger tyres.

Size is one of the things putting me off. Also the spec isn't great, but it is shiny and i like the idea of the plus sized tyres. My Stiffee is a 17" and that feels right.

I can pay it off in small chunks so no outlay and would give me a more modern geometry. Tried knocking the price down but they wouldn't.

Thanks for the input.
