Cracking 18'C here in Staffs. Out after tea local and get the kids in bed. Some woods, some singletrack, some lanes. 👌

That was the plan. Rode last two days and conditions are perfect. Sadly work and other stuff got in the way.  I'm not sure 8 hours behind this keyboard, mowing the lawn before going to our pilates class was quite the rockn'roll 'longest' day I was hoping for 😉

Yep. Done and dusted / dusty. Lovely hour and a bit in the sun this evening above Macc. Strange how recent all those snowy rides still feel though...

Yep, just a lap of some local woods. Bit blowy but a nice bit of evening sunshine.

Only managed twenty minutes after work to check over some maintenance then been on childcare duty this eve so am catching up on work and looking out of the window at the sunshine with the soundtrack of our liitle one snoring and next door watching the football. Strangely report writing has never been so enjoyable [confused laughing smiley]

Five weeks after breaking my neck I managed a 45 minute loop of my local hill. Great to be back out although not fully recovered yet. Ebikes are great recovery tools though

Should have done, but didn't, been fighting going back to bad all day after waking at ~0430.

Given I now want to do a decent ride tomorrow, I felt it was wise not to pop out this evening, because I have experience of not being able to get to sleep for ~3 hours after I get in and that would mess my sleeping pattern up good and proper.

Still pissed off with myself for not going out though, the week got off to a decent start with a ~30 mile ride after work on Monday, but all I've done since is commute rides (and sedatory ones at that on way home). :/

Did a 28 mile loop with a mate. All the nice single track around here is overgrown with nettles at the mo though and for some year they are making me itch?! Never known that before.

Yup and it was a lovely evening to be out. Riding buddy is getting over an AC 2-3 injury he picked up in Andorra a few weeks back, so just did an easy 43km from Macc to Marple, Disley and back through Lyme Park. Stunning views over towards kinder and the Cheshire/across into Wales.

Finished at the pub (rude not too) for a couple of pints and snacks. Pity all evening and night ride conditions can't be like last night

Cracking weather for a solstice ride. The Malverns were in fine fettle 🙂 Couple of pints after and it was still (just) light riding home at 10.30..

Cchris2lou,wrong way round!  Went for a ride first from 6 to 8:30 ish (it was a little hot though at 30+C) then fete de la musique till about midnight... (with a shower between the two - don't want to be too anti-social).

I'm not quite firing on all cylinders this morning though - hence looking at the forum rather than writing tricky emails to misbehaving guides...

worth it though.
