Ordered a Fox Speedframe with a healthy discount on the 20th

Confirmation email came and the estimated dispatch date was blank - not heard anything since.

Granted it's not a huge amount of time, but you'd imagine a discounted item would be something they physically have their hands on. It showed in stock, so I'd hope to get some sort of idea when it's coming, even IF they are getting it from a third party

I was looking at some of their sales bits the other day, back then it said dispatch around 1st June. I've dithered and delayed, not yet ordered, so no idea if it's now looking at approx 5th June or later.

Rutland Cycling is always a lucky dip with regards to whether they actually have in stock the item you want to buy.
You either seem to get the item in a day or two, or it's never going to arrive - seems to be no in between.

That's been my experience, anyway.

Similar recent experience. Emailing them threatening to cancel = immediate response.

Asking for expediting shipping as compensation = immediate tracking number for budget shipping 'oh dear we just sent it'.

Just start the process earlier, they're playing the sportpursuit game where they don't actually order items until they can get them discounted at bulk.

Just checked and the same item says ready for dispatch on 1st June.

Whether it said that when I ordered and I missed it, dunno. Guess I'll just have to wait a week

Ordered a bike off them once which they phoned a few days later to say they couldn’t find so cancelled the order.

A month later said bike turned up.

Well I ordered a Saris H3 on Sunday, got the payment receipts promptly, with a "ready to dispatch" date on the item being Monday 30th. But since then nothing, no communication of date of actual delivery and I haven't got a clue who is delivering it, if it doesn't come today then I doubt it will arrive until at least next Monday due to Liz's shindig.

Wasn't like this in '17, ordered my road bike from them, good comms and arrived within three days.

Got home from working away and don't know how long my Speedframe has been sat on the kitchen side - not seen the Mrs yet.

Had no booklets with it though and more importantly, the spare pads that come in the same bag.

Don't know whether to be mildly annoyed and order the £4.99 spare pads off the internet, or throw a strop and send an email

Ordered my cassette from Rutland last month. Took 3-4 weeks to arrive though they did email me eventually claiming they had stock problems.

No further comms, checked website again and it says free delivery is dispatched using 48 hours service...

Parcel Force just dropped off unit with 48 hours Tracked, lots of extra selotape around box made me worry it might be an obvious refurb but all looks fine unwrapping it including turbo app trial codes, happy days!
