You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Wondering about this currently. In simple terms could I run "sprint" shifters, linked to a road 3 port junction under the stem (or maybe in the stem), out to the battery junction box (and seatpost battery) and down to the rear der?
I'm not bothered with the display panel and the sprint shifters could potentially be laid into/under an ESI grip making for a nice neat/clean look but also avoiding the awful looking shifter pod.
Thoughts?
Yes, you can use the sprint shifters, but trying to mount them into a form factor that you'd be happy to use is the problem. There's a thread on weight weenies where some one has tried it and basically given up from what I understand.
I run my XTR version using the road Junc A under the stem, no dashboard, battery in top tube, XTR shifter. I wanted to keep the charge point with easy access otherwise I might have put the JB A in the stem or top tube also.
thanks blazin - will take a look over at WW
