Looks like front end will be 30mm higher using my 100mm 29er forks (compared to fox 140s) so Geometry might be goosed
Wondered if it had been done; dont want to waste 20 quid on a headset. (and lots on a coil shock)
NB For testing purposes, might get a FDR Tough shock..its got rebound and its a coil. Nice (might not fit mind)

I have a Meta, I can't help but think the climbing ability would be compromised be keeping the travel the same. Is there a U-turn 29er fork you could set to 80mm for up? Excuse me for not following, but why would you need the coil shock? Is it to give you more travel in the back to match the front?
Dont [need] a coil shock. Just fancy one and right now I will fit something mega cheap to test the angles 🙂

I like playing more than riding these days. A totally pointless parody of a bike that rides horribly may be right up my street. Ill keep you posted.
