Need to pick up the wife from Grenoble hospital tomorrow, hopefully,. But the van is Critair 4 and so banned from 07:00 to 19:00
From what I gather the fine is only €68 so €128 for the return journey perhaps.
I'll keep googling but if anyone has more info it would be appreciated. ( I'm not very clever at present.)
Happy to pay a hundred or so but if it's thousands then I need a plan B
I thought it had been binned?
Looks like the A41 autoroute from Chambéry and the main road to the hospital is exempt. So long as I don't get lost.....
Assemblée has voted to get rid, but it's not law yet, so theoretically still enforceable. Is be extremely surprised if you get a penalty.
Is it Hôpital Michallon?
Grenoble Uni Hospital is all I know
I took a wrong turn last summer and didn't get a fine.
I later checked the intersection where I went wrong and other major intersections I went past on streetview.
the streetview images were recent enough to show the low emission zone signs, but I couldn't spot a permanent camera system.
if this is still the case then you would only get fined if the police catches you, so then it comes down to whether your french is good enough to talk your way out of it.
It looks like michallon and the uni hospital are close together or one hospital spread out over two locations?
make sure you know where you have to be and which signs you have to follow
