Anyone know of any bearing pullers that will be ok for removing most bearings on bikes? There are a few on ebay, I have no idea if they will suffice.
I normally just tap them out, but cant seem to get them out of the rear hubs this time.
Cheers
If you like some really rough bodging then I just tapped my hub bearings out using a big hammer and a couple of long woodscrews. One woodscrew goes through the inside of the hub so that the head sits against the inside of the bearing that you want to knock out. Screw the other screw lightly in against the head of the first screw to hold it in place and stop it popping out. Hit the end of the first screw gently with a hammer (or rock)
Or just buy the proper tool bunt where is the fun or instant satisfaction in that
