Looking at frame options and one of them (salsa horsethief) has a 142mmx12 maxle rear end. Sounds like a good idea and reckon it would stiffen things up nicely, the question is, will my current wheels (hope pro2 rear hub) be adaptable or is it new hub time if I get one of these?

From memory, if you've got a Pro II it's convertible with a new axle; a Pro II Evo only needs new end caps.
