I'm currently building up a pair of ss bikes for the winter, using old parts. Ive got cranks/pedals but no washers to go in the middle(guess they got lost). I need 4 washers but a pack of 10 would be good so we have some spares for the other bikes too.

Found them online for about 6 quid per pair, that seems fairly expensive for 2x washers. (Not far off the price of a set of complete wellgo pedals) Anyone know of a cheaper source?

Thanks

If you can find something compatible from a bolt/fasteners supplier there's half a chance it won't be bike-trade "bend over please, Sir" prices.

I drilled out some "washers"* to use once

*These are quite like crank/pedal washers but surprisingly common in garages and sheds and economical even if you do need to buy

😀 😆 I had thought of drilling out normal washers, I have the pillar drill all setup to do so. Just figured I could maybe find a pack of 10 for a fiver or so - making things even easier. 8)

pillar drill, yeh, that would have been better than holding in a pair of pliers with a bit of scrap wood 😳
