I have knee /lower leg pain and often get discomfort during hard rides. i've seen the doc/physio and now awaiting MRI hopefully as nobody's sure what's going on . Anyhow ..I usually use a compressive ice pack on the area after each ride but thought about doing it mid ride perhaps ..carrying an ice pack in a thermos then having a break when suits to cool down the offending area.
Just wondered whether it's likely to have much benefit or should I just wait till I get home?
I'm in no hurry btw and like bimbling alone on in rough hilly areas so stopping is no problem ..sometimes put my hammock up for a quick rest too!

I'd change my bike fit if it hurt me that much.
nothing to do with bike fit unfortunately ...a lot worse when walking any distance
