Wanting to do this ride this weekend whilst up in the lakes - it's Walna Scar.

Works fine for me, did you manage to download the file? I have it on my phone and the box viewer app reads it just fine.
Works fine for me too, opened up perfectly in the alpinequest app on my phone (android)
I don't think the route is the best I've seen for Walna Scar.
You would be better heading across to Seathwaite and doido the full climb, it is a great challenge and far more enjoyable with less big than the Pedal North route. It is is all fairly well signpoated BW, so a GPS route shouldn't be necessary.
