Gis a go on yer bike Mister...Not really, but feel free to tell me how great, or not it is.
If you are anywhere near Yorkshire the 2019 demo fleet are going to JE James cyclefest at Rother Valley on 6th October.
You can try one first hand.
Quite simply the best bike I've had. As a LT29er it is extremely capable doing the endooro stuff but it also pedals really well. I got mine as I came off the back of nearly 6 months without riding after an ankle fusion, had no strength and little fitness, 1st ride out I was setting PRs on segments I've ridden masses of times and that has continued wherever I've ridden since I've got it.
I took it to the Alps recently and it was happy on the black DH pistes, the nadgery walking trails through the woods and chewing distance on backcountry days, at home it's done big trail days and uplift laps. As long as there is gradient nothing phases it.
If I could of I'd have liked to have got the factory 36 and X2 upgrades but that's nit picking.
I'm in Shropshire if you wanted a spin on an XL.
I’ve got one and loving it. It’s lasting up to the season so far with no problems, I’m liking it more all the time.
Can’t work out how to post photos any more but I went for a grey on grey and it looks cool.
hmm,, may have to make a date with a test bike
really impressed with mine, getting closer to my mates when racing now. seems to give me more confidence going down techy stuff and very impressed with how it climbs. been able to get much further up technical climbs than i could on my old G150.
I got one about four weeks ago. OK I was coming off a 2013 SC Blur LtC, but I was incredibly impressed on both the ups and downs when I demo'd one.
Still making me smile every ride, think I've dialled the suspension in now and it's fantastic.
Make sure you demo it in the "lower" setting
I've got the x team but it's the 2017 model so not the new shape. regardless it is a beast of a bike. Couldn't recommend it enough.
My raw power did shear a chain link recently though but that is more through wear i think.
