Has anyone in the Worthing / Brighton /wider area had a fairly nice Chromag Rootdown stolen recently??
Cos I've found one! Which is VERY odd, as it's a fairly rare frame, and I HAVE ONE TOO!
So if your's is missing, contact me with some build details/photos of you with/on it, and I'll return it to you!

Not going down the 'give it to the police route' as I think I've more chance and effort of returning it to it's owner!

I was going to suggest checking stolen-bikes.co.uk to see if someone had reported it, but I think they have closed now. Not sure if there is anything else like this instead?

Could the importer assist with a frame number?

Good luck finding the owner.

It might be worth Googling the frame number to see if anyone has posted anything up on social media.

It's soooo fricking weird as it's a rare frame...and I RUDDY HAVE THE SAME ONE!

Just got off the phone to Sussex Police (who were friendly...) and there hasn't been one reported as missing..
Which is odd, as it's SUCH an entheusiasts bike isn't it!

Stick the frame number into Bikeregister see if anyone has reported it stolen on there.

@DrP have you checked that yours is where you think it is?

Be highly amusing if it isn't!

Maybe the owner just got fed up with the sight of the top tube and returned it to the wild?

Waiting for the thread "I was taking a leak in the bushes and someone stole my bike!"  They're probably still walking home.

ha!

They'd have been walking anyway - no cranks, and 2 flat tyres!

Still no news... hunting online, messaging riding groups...NOTHING!

Surely SOMEONE must be missing this bike!
