i'd like to have a look at leverage ratio curve of my frame, just for curiosity really, or possibly to convince myself a coil shock would be a really good idea/total waste of time.
as i understand it, you can input measurements (and presumably frame type etc) and Linkage will do calcs for you and draw me a nice graph.
presumably it's theoritcally possible to take a series of (highly precise) measurement oneself and put them into excel and get a graph that way. but i'm not feeling that geeky, tho i could probably take good enough measurements...
anyone up for doing it for me in Linkage or similar? i couldn't justify the $25 to buy it just for one-off geeking.
Linkagedesign blog might have already done your frame.
thnaks onza, do you mean here?

if so they haven't. YT wicked 2012 26"
anyone help me out?
This one? http://linkagedesign.blogspot.co.uk/2012/01/young-talent-wicked-2012.html
Or this one? http://linkagedesign.blogspot.co.uk/2013/02/young-talent-wicked-170-2013.html
Both are strongly progressive so will work best with high volume air or coil. I haven't seen a YT bike that doesn't have a progressive linkage, it seems to be the norm for them.
sometimes my lack of googling skill mystifies me, or maybe it's just cos i use duckduckgo?
anyway, that's what i wanted to hear, thanks cgg
