Keep looking at these as an upgrade on the Wiggins Chartres the kids are on at the moment. They are quite happy on the Wiggins now I've added some bigger tires, but wondering if the Seeker would be considerably more capable off road. They will be 7 this winter and I'm thinking of getting them out to trail centres in the spring.
We have the 20" Belter trail 3S which preceeded the Seeker, it has a 3-speed hub gear and a suspension fork but the frame looks identical.
It's been round Swinley a hundred times, done Welsh blues, the FOD and Haldon Forest great little first 'proper MTB. His little sister has just inherited it and she'll be doing her first blue trails next season.
Age 6/7 is about right that when both of ours started with it. Wee man grew out of it when he hit 9 so you usually get about 2 years.
