Ordered a medium, 17.5" based on me being 5'9" but the seatpost is so long that even with it dropped as far as it will go it is still too high for me. Find it very odd as my last 29er was a 19" and expected this to be a better fit.
Has anyone else found the same issue or is there something wrong here?
Needed to check before I get the pipecutter out to trim the post down.
Just trim the seatpost, they tend to put the longest ones on for oem to start, so it can be fitted. Easier than making a short one longer.
All my recent bikes have needed the seatpost cutting.
I have a T129 but mine is large. I have noticed that the seat post is ridiculously long as well but as I am tall I haven't need to cut it down.
As sync said just trim it down and it should be fine. Hope you enjoy the new bike.
