Any good, and any other suggestions for similar jackets that will see me through a north of scotland winter...

Needs to be waterproof, warm, but not too warm...

Looked at Endura MT500 jacket but can't justify £170, what about Endura Singletrack

Cheers...

I've got it

I usually hate jackets as they make me too warm but this one is fantastic. Waterproof, great fit and most importantly not too warm

I've got the flux and would highly recommend, so this is likely very good as well. Since bought their waterproof shorts. Madison stuff is great, really is good stuff.

Me too, really like it in stinking weather, good long fitted sleeves and not constricting at the neck.

I highly recommend the Madison Addict Storm Jacket as a full on water proof although you might struggle to get one until the next batch arrives. You can properly "batten down the hatches" in bad weather as the hood has a helmet peak pocket.

Yes! Ive got the roam jacket and i LOVE it, its the best jecket ive ever had. Wore it all last winter it was perfect.

Its so waterproof you could throw a pint down it and it'd just bounce off. It wipes clean and dries quick. It has vents in the back so not too warm (I was out riding in snow and just wore one base layer underneath). And its trendy enough to wear down the pub.

Get one.
