You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
As title asks, my son is going up there after school today but in the past has used the road down (which I am not keen on) so a map to give him the proper route would be handy. Cheers Mark
Hi
The road is probably the best way down, there are a few short bits of singletrack but they're not on maps and are only a few hundred yards long. Chances of meeting a car (if that's your concern) on the singletrack road are slim on an evening.
Turn south at the top fence and head down.
This brings you out at Blairlogie where it's easy to follow a track through fields to Logie Kirk and in at the back of the Uni.
Off-road all the way.
Thanks for that guys
I'd recommend that he doesn't go down into Blairlogie unless he knows the route and is happy riding (and walking) steep, exposed technical bits of trail.
Tourist path from the summit to the main Sheriffmuir car park is the safest, and probably the most fun way down. From here it is a quick ride on quiet (or empty) singletrack road down to the uni.
