If so, can you measure the insertion depth for me?

Bit of a random request, and still waiting on hope getting back to me...

I have one on my Honzo. Can't remember is being anything other than 'normal' when i got it fitted. Around 10mm at most i'd suggest.

I got mine at Merlin and they were very helpful after i ordered the wrong one initially, you could call them and they'll probably have one within reach to check for you?

Is this the one that fits in a 44mm headtube and allows a tapered fork to fit?

That's the badger.

"around 10mm" is my guess, looking for a greater level of precision, as that would either just fit or just not fit, depending on tolerances on "around" 🙂

Merlin have no H in stock...

9.5mm by the looks of that 🙂

Now, I wonder if anywhere actually has stock...

UK bike store just emailed me to say Hope have ran out of 1.5" bearings as I was enquiring if the picknmix lower cups were available in different colours (apparently not).

Hope get more bearings in 1-2 weeks time.

Had similar info from thebikechain, just wondering if anyone knew somewhere that might have one sat on a shelf.

Maybe 2 bonus points? 😉

They've been waiting for those bearings for about a month now.....and it was 'we should have them in 3 days to a week' at the start of that. I found the Cane Creek headsets to be a nice alternative.

we've got a cup/crown race, but no bearing. I've not even got one of the other 1.5" cups to nab one from. If you find a bearing, maybe we can help there...

Ah, 18bikes or Jeffus, any chance you can check the insertion depth, and stack height for me? (how much goes in the frame, and how much is left out the frame).

Jeffus, I'd be interested if the measurements pan out...

Ahah, word from hope is new bearings mid april, 9.5mm insertion.

Stack height still a mystery, but less crucial.
