Mrs750 is looking for an ebike to cycle to work on and the local LBS stocks https://hikobike.co.uk/
Has anyone got one and did you have any issues
For that money your better off buying a more mainstream brand that uses Yamaha or Bosch motors...
Better chance of ongoing support if anything went wrong.
They look awful, similar money as well known brands from a reputable bikeshop so I’d support your local decent bikeshop
“Approx. rider height: 5’6″ – 6’5″”
Well, thats most adult humans covered then! 😂
As others have said, look shit.
This is one of the problems today. Over the last 3 or 4 years hundreds of Ebike companies have formed and all touting the same low spec, mass imported frame with hub motors. Basically its a Ebso.
Thanks for the replies.
I did wonder about the motor I had never heard off and it sounds like everyone agrees
For the money you're looking to spend there ,theres better at Focus or Cube, or even Raleigh which is usually a bit less money. External battery means she can take it into work with her and charge it at the companies expense.
Raleigh seem to be sticking with Bosch, which is probably as good sign.
