Has anyone got a bolt long? What is it like?

You don't seem to see many second hand which means either they don't sell or they are quite well liked.

I know it's heavy but I think it's right up my street.

Cheers,

Mark

I'm pretty sure there is a 2nd hand one for sale on PinkBike which looks alright.

I had one for about a year. It was great as a light downhill bike but felt pretty heavy and a bit of a drag uphill. You could make it lighter than I had it but then that would be missing the point.

It was a lot of fun at Fort William and glencoe but for day to day riding that involves ups as well as downs I prefer the cannondale trigger that replaced it. I got a great deal on the Bolt but I think there are better value alternatives too.

i dont do alot of miles but do do alot of dicking about in the woods.

i dont think i`ve ever owned a 'light' bike. the lockout will help with climbing no doubt.

i dont really want a 27.5er as all my other bikes are 26 i have suitable 26er kit for a frame upgrade and i cant face the faff and upgrades.

none on pinkbike - they seem to go quick which must be a good sign!

cheers,

mark
