how is the fit? never really got on with the fit of the recon & wondered if this was similar or different now it has a BOA fitting?

Had one since Xmas, very good fit and the BOA system really works well to keep it in place. The magnetic strap lock takes a little while to get used to but seems to work, and ventilation wise is seems to work well.
I went to this from a Trail RS, previously to that a Super and then way back a Recon so I am struggling to remember the difference.
I've worn this on 3-4 hour rides without really noticing it bar the visor, its a good helmet.
cheers, the recon seemed too shallow and the top of my head kept rubbing the inner shell (i'm not a cone head btw)
Well, being folically challenged I am partial to a badly fitting helmet that rubs and I have found the AM helmet to be fine, although I chose the MIPS version which adds an extra layer on the inside shell.
One thing with the BOA system is when you tighten it it feels like the entire width is contracting around the circumference, not simply a feeling of the helmet behind squeezed against your forehead like some designs do.
