If yes, please share your thoughts on the move,
was it worth the change?
how different do the bikes ride?
did you go for the same size bronson?
Why not demo one ?
Well I've just checked the SC UK website and according to that nowhere in the UK has a Bronson in anything other than medium 🙁
Can't really imagine why I'd want to get rid of my LTc to fund a Bronson. The LTc is a smashing bike already so why change.
Thought I was having to sell my LTc recently to help fund the house move but didn't need to in the end. Very thankful about that as my LTc has a £5.5k build with XTR, CK wheels, loads of dream bits on it and couldn't get a sniff at £2250 with the bike in superb condition. And how much is a Bronson again? No thank you. It's not that good that I'm going to have dropped over £3k in value on my LTc and then spend another £6k to get the equivalent build Bronson
I have a blur LT and have just demoed a 5010 in a large, my blur is a medium and it feels the same size wise.
I would definitely demo one first. Where are you based ??
I've got an LTc and have had a brief go on a Bronson.
Bronson felt a bigger bike, less manoeuvreable, but big wheels did roll nicely over bigger rocks.
Hard to say if I'd get one as I only had a short ride on it. For the rocky lakes stuff I ride, I don't think I'd swap the LTc as it didn't feel that much better to justify the cost!
Maybe if I was buying now and didn't have an LTc I'd seriously consider one, but that would probably because most stuff now has gone to that wheel size.
So I'm probably saying, based on my brief test - if you enjoy your LTc now, just stick with that.
