Am changing my tripster to 1x and thought it might be a good opportunity to try a dropper in there. I wasn't really thinking things through and had assumed the wee hole in the seat tube was for dropper routing:

It turns out it's for Di2 or something cos I think a dropper cable in there would be weird routing.

Has anyone else fitted a dropper, and if so how did you route the cable?

Thanks!

I had a crotch grab dropper on mine. Spent quite a bit of time considering the Di2 hole but didn't think I could make it work.

External routing would still be quite neat as it's only got to run down the back of the seat tube and then back up through the downtube.

Yeah, I think I might cut my losses and think about a crotch dropper at some other point.

I run a dropper with an under saddle lever (I refuse to call it a crotch dropper) on my gravel bike and for the odd occasion I use it it's fine, plus gives me the option to change seat post quickly and easily.
