Thought I'd share this in case someone wants to enter. Amongst several smaller prize competitions, a chance to win a T6 kombi and a 6k bike.

I'm just never comfortable with these sort of things
He's selling 50k of tickets with no risk to him and even with the high prices of the t6 he's making a tidy profit .
Well why shouldn't he i guess but it's all just a little too pyramid scheme for me .

Blimey, never knew you could enter for free?
It's sneakily hidden on the lower half of the page.
Does that mean that anyone who pays should get at least two "lines"/chances, the free one and the paid ones?

Just like Tescos, they buy them damn apples and sell them for more than they bought them for...
Oh... isn't that kind of how the world works ?
fair play to him for his money making idea but he's not buying anything tho. he's using other peoples money to buy the bikes and T6.
zero risk for him

Its a lottery, a pyramid scheme is a very different thing.
Like the National Lottery but probably a much better chance of winning something worthwhile.
Just googled it, 57% of the lottery is paid out in prizes, so on that basis it does seem like a better value competition.
My only gripe with gambling in general is it always feels like un earned money for the casinos (or other people running them). Lotteries and raffles that make money for charities are one thing but when it's a company doing it it's just an idiot tax.
There's a great quote from 150 odd years ago that goes something like:
"Gambling is a mechanism for taking money from those who don't know what to do with it. And giving it to those who do"
£2.50 ticket got me a Reverb AXS, it’s not a scam just a lottery.
And I believe Gnusmas has had some luck.
Also know 2 local to me that have won the £6k bike comps.
I bought a kids bike from a guy that’s also won a bike from it... so is definitely legit.
zero risk for him
Unless the number of free entries means that there aren’t enough paid entry places to cover the cost of the prize.
(Unlikely but possible) 🤔
This Competition has a minimum of 2500 and is limited to 2500 Entries for any period taken.
I was the first ever winner, a lovely set of 36's.
Yes I did win, a hope bundle on the then weekly competition just before Xmas last year. When he rang me the conversation evolved and I told him what had happened a few months prior. He used his discretion to change my prize to a bike instead, hoping I would get more out of a new bike rather than dressing up my old one. With Xmas and birthday money added I was able to get an aeris. Top bloke and definitely legit.
I met him at the ms-rt factory where another winner was collecting the transit custom and 6k bike he had won.
An occasional little flutter gotta no harm imo.
I don't understand why you can enter for free? You can't enter the lottery for free, can you!?
Makes me sound sad, but I quite enjoy buying a ticket every now and then. Not much chance of winning though it’s genuinely a good feeling seeing somebody end up with a nice bike, kit etc. The van ones don’t interest me. Just the occasional bike or brake / Hope bundle.

I think it's just a loophole. If it's free to enter then it's not gambling or something like that. Lotteries, casino's etc need licencing.
