I'll be setting off from Macc station about 9.20, getting the train up from Stoke. Doing a big loop and would be nice to meet some new folks. Up to charity lane, up to cat n fiddle, down Cumberland clough, up and round the other side of the forest to finish back at the station and maybe some lunch before train home. Email in profile.
Won't be out during the day, but you better bring some good waterproofs as Charity Lane and Cumberland Clough are very wet, for a change.
To make it a bit more interesting head up to Teggs nose via Buxton Road straight from the station, drop down Saddlers way and all the way under Teggs Nose, cross the reservoir then climb up to The Leather Smithy and onto your planned route. Don't forget to look for the cheeky bits in the trees on the way back down the fire road from the view point.
