Yes, I had that as well, started a few weeks ago.
Garmin edge 1030, several years old now.
I assumed it was that they had given me some firmware update that meant it could no longer read old maps, but that's just a guess.
I was going to try installing maps from openstreetmap but I haven't got round to it yet.
EDIT: oh, you're talking about Strava maps, but I was talking about Garmin, doh.
Good to know it's not just me. I meant to mention that it's only in the app, it's fine on the website.
EDIT: Also I can see them in the "news feed", it's just when I open a specific activity that I don't see them
I'm on Android (Pixel 7), I just cleared the app's cache and data. After logging in I still have the same problem, very odd.
EDIT: Just deleted the app and reinstalled, but it's still the same... 🤔
Im a non subscriber and maps are showing on the desktop and mobile app versions of Strava
Starting to sound like I'm the chosen one for this new feature 😆
@dawson how do you make your Strava map show your PR segments? Mine on iPhone doesn’t, and I’m a subscriber - with a bad case of FOMO.
I had some issues with routes not showing up - turned out it was a problem with my ISP’s DNS. Maybe see if it works when using mobile data in case that’s what the problem is.

Thanks for the suggestion, but it's the same on WiFi and mobile
Working fine for me on app (Android) and web. Subscriber.
Not this exact issue but their widgets have been failing to update for me which I’ve found to be highly annoying. Like right now it says 41 but if I open the app it’s actually 61. I basically just have to have a tally in my head instead.

This. Android, subscriber and maps showing fine. And yes, I didn't know I wanted to see achievements on the map until I saw it - but now...

OP: Maybe this has something to do with your problem?
