me and the so decided after brekkie to make the trip upto dornoch....she raced in the morning on the track then we piled in the van and headed north.3 1/2 hours later we pulled into the wee town...probably around 300 people there despite him thinking it ran to 1000...he arrived 5 mins late,had an interview with the local press then we were off...not a slow pace and after a mile or two i parted company with the missus and her coach.
they managed to catch him and have a chat for 5 mins...small dramas occured, me dropping my specs so had to about turn asnd cycle back and then someone clipped the gf front wheel and brought her down...didnt stop! (typical roadie!) not injured thankfully...a lot of bike bike/helmet damage though...didnt harm what was a great day though!
