Have entered in this and just wondered what it is like and how much of it is on road? 29er xc hardtail ok ass well? Cheers

got mildly interested then but....
Unless I'm massively missing something its a 100% road ride..
A cyclosportive (often referred to as a sportive, a challenge ride or cycle leisure ride) is a mass participation bicycle event that combines elements of road bicycle racing and long distance bicycle touring.
A good lightweight road bike, in good condition, with a wide range of gears will be suitable.

Yup, the Kilo 2 go events are all road based events, the White Peak one definately is

Hmmm this is not good news for me! On wiggles website it is under the MTB events section and mentions heading across moorland, through valleys and describes it as a MTB event.
