I did the London to Southend on my moonlander and it was the most fun I've had in ages! Going to do the London to Brighton, only problem is I need to find someone over 18 who will do it with me! Not asking lol. Just curious if anyone's doing it?

Done it last three years, lovely atmosphere, little hint waiting at start is not compulsory. Cx bike ideal.

I'll be there 😀

First ride of this type (point-to point) in a big group so looking forward to the atmosphere. Will be on a 120mm F/S (smallest bike I have!) so will be overbiked but will have fun regardless.

Did it last year with a mate, both on CX's, loved it til the last South Downs descent when we both suffered a few pinch flats!

Yep, I'm the "hare" again, checking the arrows are all still there.

Every year I do it the little devil in me wants to send 3000 somewhat mixed ability riders down some of the more interesting trails as we go over the North Downs 🙂

Yep. I'm in, first time and I haven't done over 45 miles before so it should be interesting.

Me too. I did the south downs way 35 mile route in the summer and this looked like a good step up. I'll be on a 456.

Yep, Hopefully. Still trying to figure out the logistics of getting myself to and from Portsmouth via the trains as I assume they wont be laying any extra ones on and they tend to ban bikes altogether in the region of brighton so assuming I will have to ride out to Bognor to get a train back.

I've never had a problem just getting a train from Brighton.

What a stunning day! It was absolutely freezing (literally... It was -1) heading over the N Downs at 7.30am but when it warmed up it was gorgeous and the views over the South Downs were beautiful.

Did everyone have a good day?
