*Looks* pretty good for the £15 asking and a step up from the Brand X lever without the Wolftooth price tag. Anyone using one?

Bought one for the Mrs’ bike. It’s definitely nicer than the Brand X one I have so I have bought another one.
No play, smooth action and no silly barrel nut.
Nice find
Is that eBay seller ZTTO direct/is it an official ZTTO outlet?
I bought the ZTTO SLR2 cassette via AliExpress. I haven't used it yet but the delivery was super quick, it's the claimed weight (~360g for 11-46), and the machining on the big cogs looks decent. A guy from ZTTO is active on MTBR forums, which swayed my decision.
I don't have a dropper but will be interested in experiences (and I'll post in a few weeks about the cassette).
That looks exactly like my Wolf Tooth! Could have saved quite a bit...
There are loads of listings for them on eBay - varying prices from about £14. Just search ‘ztto dropper lever’. The Wolftooth ones look way overpriced in comparison? Not sure if they are one and the same and it’s the usual story of the Chinese wholesaler selling direct...
Anyone compare these to the Bontrager lever that's the usual budget upgrade?
Well, took the plunge - waiting on our Hong Kong friends now...
Will watch this with interest. I've the newer Brand-X lever which feels nice enough and I prefer to the Bonty one (which i destroyed with my knee). The BX is fiddly to set up and can be a bit temperamental on tension with my post
I’ve ordered one too, to go with a fox transfer, potentially.
The fox lever that came with the bike feels incredibly flimsy and I’d have been miffed to have paid the £60odd for one.
If the ZTTO is no better, I have two kids bike with brand x droppers that might be upgraded with it.
Looks good.
I rated the bonty one too be fair though that looks nicer
I’ve ordered one. If it’s any good, the One Up dropper becomes very affordable.
The seller in HK is having that Friday feeling right now...
"6 sold in 24 hours"
Nice find but I can't justify getting rid of the Bonty one as it perfectly fine.
I'd give that one a go if I were upgrading the standard lever now though.👍
Ordered, Ta 👍
A strange one, ordered one and wasn't expecting too much really.
Received a necklace from the seller last week with a letter saying there was a delay and the lever would be with me within another week. I assumed it would not appear and as they had a record of delivery I would not get a refund.
Left it a week and just as was going to email the seller the postie delivered the lever.
Lever looks good and well built, I have a wolf tooth on another dropper and they appear as good as each other.... I also have a hideous necklace as a bonus!
Just ordered one. Looks far superior to the one I have fitted. Thanks.
Oddly I was looking at these earlier. Might take the plunge now.
Looked at these on eBay and presumed they'd be dreadful. Bought a wolf tooth, hoping for ball of flame horror stories to show I didntt waste my money
😉
Unfortunately not. Easy to install, much less flex than the Brand X one, smooth trigger action and I suppose that’s it really.

Are they one and the same (Chinese production line) but different logo? Nit sure unless someone has both to compare.
Just ordered one to replace my Tranz X vertical action lever.
Got my one yesterday, much better than I expected.
Has anyone seem similar style lockout levers for the (older?) pull-to-unlock Reba's with longer cable pull (17mm I think)?
Oh, I've done about 100km on the 360g 11-46 SLR2 cassette now with no issues.
Received mine yesterday and fitted it today. Very good quality for the price.
I reckon Keith Bontrager may need to review his comment about "light, strong, cheap" because it's well-made, hardly a lump of lead and is far cheaper than the eerily similar Wolftooth Dropper Lever.
I've just ordered one to my brand X lever.
Got both the Wolftooth and the ZTT one and they are identical in quality in my opinion. Rode my new one for a long weekend including BPW, no issues whatsoever with the Brand-x seatpost
Mine arrived and fitted. Two rides in and I’m staggered that I even contemplated spending £60 on a replacement lever* when this is so good, for so little (comparatively) money.
*the tiny grub screw that clamps the cable in the official fox transfer lever, well the part the Allen key goes in, is made of soft cheese it turns out.
Now showing out of stock 🙁
I think AliExpress still have them.
They are still on eBay you just need to search for them.
The main lever looks good on mine (not yet fitted so can't comment on how well it works). Only negative it's that the barrel adjuster looks cheap with a clip holding it in place rather than a sprung slider on other vastly more expensive options.
On balance, it's still brilliant value for money, very nearly as good as the wife's wolftooth lever.
Ordered one 3 weeks ago. So far I've received a plastic necklace with a letter of apology for delay due to oos. Very strange
Weird, I ordered one last week and already have it

Hey Sam - mine arrived like that as well. Well, the first one arrived without one at all and I used one from an old rear mech instead. The other two I ordered from a different merchant arrived with a clip thing, and the barrel adjuster loose in the bag rather than screwed into the lever. The clip seems to be to hold the adjuster, screw and spring together on the lattter two levers. Pull the clip off - there may be a fully functioning spring under there.
That said, the screw part itself has too shallow a recess for the cable outer, which makes the outer wobble about when you push the lever. I really hate this, but it's an easy enough fix if you have a friendly LBS happy to trade doughnuts or beer for a parts bin rummage.
I’ve just checked mine. The clip is just there to hold it together in transit. It’s just a normal barrel adjuster once it’s off
At that price it's worth having one sat in the spares box!
Despite the fact that mine arrived when I expected it, today I got an apology and a 16” tall silver letter “U” as compensation for it being out of stock 😂
I want what they’re smoking !
😂
Mine arrived today .amazing for £15
I got a bag of plastic pearls and a refund
Mine arrived in 2 weeks. Then yesterday I got a sequinned hair clip in the shape of a present...with a letter of apology about the delay. Brilliant. Deffo going to order another one just for the mystery gift
..oh and the lever works just fine.
^^ Got the eBay seller you bought it from mate?
I might order one as a spare!
The common theme seems to be .
They actually do deliver within the rough 4 week time frame .but you get a Christmas cracker style gift first with a letter of apology then a week later it turns up.
Odd but it does eventually turn up and it's brilliant
It also has a short stroke over a wolftooth.
It's not a wolftooth and durability is get to be seen but honestly £15 delivered is an absolute bargain
Link coming up
Mine is working great and after further reading of this thread I don't need the clip on the adjuster 🙄
They actually do deliver within the rough 4 week time frame
Around 2 weeks for me iirc
I thought the gift was a scam and left bad feedback. They refunded me and it turned up a week later.
Mine landed in about 12 days, fitted it the other day, can't fault it for the price, even at twice the price it be good.
Bought 29th June.
Should be here any day now then.
Tracking info suggests is been in the country since 4th July.
Yeah, I think mine sat in limbo in the UK for a while.
Still, be thankful you've ordered it now rather than after Halloween. I reckon customs might be in full melt down then.😉
Will keep these in mind for when any of our Brand-X ones need replaced - baulked at the price of the Wolftooth ones, despite plenty of recommendations.
A bit of a resurrection. While waiting for my ZTTO lever I’ve been looking at the cassettes on Ali Express.
Does anyone have any experience of them? I’m interested in the 11-50 9 speed.
There also seems to be a few cassettes with the same description, but different prices. Has anyone gone for the cheapest option and been content with the product?
ta
Do these levers off eBay come with the cable?
@LAT I've got a 10 speed 11-46 going on my bike 3 months use and no grumbles. Can't say I have noticed any difference to any other cassette I have used? I've not weighed it, but can't say I noticed any difference when riding the bike after swapping from a sunrace 11-42. Obviously I should have noticed it has an easier gear, but I also swapped from a 30 to a 32 front chainring, so this kind of balanced out.
Cable inner supplied with the lever.
@theboayman
thanks for the info. With your username I’m guessing that you’d have noticed if it felt like an anchor
Off the back of this discussion I have just ordered and received one of the ZTTO remotes for a (hopefully) soon to arrive OneUp V2 dropper with 2.1 actuator.
Ive just tried getting the positioning of the remote on the handlebars to my liking, the thing I've noticed is that I dont like how angled back the lever blade seems to sit (the lever reach I guess, which I see is adjustable on the PNW loam lever.)
Did anyone else have any issues with the positioning and 'ergonomics' and how did you resolve it?
What I mean is when the lever is in its normal resting position its quite far back behind the bars towards me. (this is while keeping the rotational plane of the lever around the ball bearing horizontal so that it is a simple flat push forward to make the lever rotate around the bearing)
So if I then adjust the levers position further around under the handlebars to be in the preferred thumb reach position, it now becomes more of a scoop upwards from under with the thumb kind of motion to activate the dropper because the rotational plane around the bearing is now inclined.
I would prefer a more straight horizontal push towards the front wheel kind of action as that causes less disruption to my grip on the handlebars while im holding on for dear life. And my thumb can naturally drop onto the lever rather than really trying to reach for it.
For those using this lever with Oneup v2.1 actuators, how many mm of lever travel (or how many mm of cable pull) do you need to fully actuate the dropper. If the lever has more travel than is actually required I could put a physical stopper on the lever body (to adjust the reach) so it doesnt come all the way back.
anyone else in similiar position?
I think you might be overthinking it tbh. If you’re holding on for dear life I can’t see you also trying to operate the dropper regardless of lever position. Also, if you have it closer to horizontal I would imagine you’ll have to push it too far forward to work well. I have no issues with my fairly Trump-esque hands and the ZTTO
I’ve got a couple of mm travel on my ZTTO lever with a 210mm Oneup v2.1 post. The throw is just a function of how tight you have the cable which is easily adjustable. I’ve just bought a 2nd one of these levers for my new hardtail. I looked at the fancier £50 sort of price range (PNW / Oneup etc) and couldn’t see the point in spending more. Oneup could have been ‘matchmakered’ to my codes I guess.
Mumkiemagic, it sounds to me like you've fitted the clamp the wrong way round. The hinge should be closest to you and the securing screw furthest away.
Ordered one ages ago ... liked it so much I bought another.

Mine never arrived, despite tracking showing it making it to the UK. Got a refund.
I bought mine from what was listed as a U.K. seller this time in London. Took longer than I expected but got here quicker than the first one I ordered from overseas.

I'm not sure that the ZTTO won't fix to a matchmaker.
Anyway, they seem to have got quite a bit more expensive - the one I bought earlier in the year was only about £12 from memory but was looking for my nephew and they're now £22+
For that price I reckon the Bontrager Line Elite is much neater (and definitely fixes to SRAM matchmaker)
Paid £19 delivered for mine from eBay from a U.K. seller.
I had a senior moment with mine yesterday. For some reason instead of pushing the thumb lever I pulled the brake lever and suddenly went over the bars and flat out in the muddy slop 🙄
I have two from AliExpress, you can choose the colour of the pivot on there £15 and delivery within a month

As davewalsh says, try turning the clamp around, I did the same thing with mine to start with.
How stupid do you think I am? Well multiply that by 3 and you are almost half way there, lol
Yep I just noticed that I managed to put the clamp on backwards. And putting it the right way makes all the difference hahahahah.
Thanks STW

Hmm. I've ridden nothing but 1x or hub gears off road for longer than I've been riding dropper posts but every so often I hit the dropper post button to drop to the small ring when I get to a steep hill.
