I got some pedals a few months back and they have been pretty good
I had some carbon areo bars a few years ago which have been fine. However I would 100% avoid the ones in your link and any other 'branded' carbon bars on Ali express.
I've bought unbranded carbon parts from Chinese Alibaba / AliExpress / EBay - easy to find who the reputable sellers are and wait until they have a coupon / discount day. I too would avoid any seller that sell obviously fake / branded parts.
Wasn’t it on here that someone filmed themselves being able to easier snap a set of aliexpress/alibaba bars?
Award winning bars. Aye, the Darwin award.
Lets face it they are not Race Face....

Here be the problem, they are not just one lot, it's hundreds or more different people pushing their stuff through there. Could be anything that comes in the post.
I would and have taken my chances on second hand carbon bars instead.

Twas me .I got a refund tho 🙂
Is saving 100 g really worth the extra risk of face planting into the stem?
There was another thread where someone fitted £13 carbon bars, and they snapped jumping off a kerb.
its a no from me.
High end legit aly bars are almost as light. A lot more expensive than £13 though.
I wouldn't ever consider buying a £13 bar unless its a repurposed scaffolding pole. But scaffolding poles are heavy..
I'm pretty suspicious of carbon bars anyway.
CRC have carbon Nukeproof bars for £50.
I would definitely avoid fake branded.
My Chinese carbon experience:
- TOSEEK seat post and rigid saddle. These have been fine.
- Unbranded frame. TT cracked on first ride. Presumably little or no quality control. [Repaired but will likely be binned after winter]
Basically, like mikewsmith said they could send anything. It's a case of buyer beware. Be prepared to write off the purchase. Do your own sensible tests.
I have cracked a big-brand frame too so am pretty open minded. However I don't anticipate buying unbranded Chinese carbon again soon.
Do you have dental insurance?
My rule of thumb is avoid anything carbon that isn't from either a known brand, or a reputable Chinese seller, deng fu, light bike etc. I thought long and hard about putting rsp bars on my xc bike.. For 50 gm saving it barely seems worth it. Although they haven't broken yet. Weren't 13 quid though.
Had a mate that bought race face carbon bars from alibaba for cheap, they cracked in a week! Luckily he noticed the crack while cleaning the bike or it could have been pretty bad
Maybe its just me but I wouldn't have carbon bars full stop.
As Mike suggests they're going to by copies of Raceface stuff made as cheaply as possible, probably not even from CF and will break with all the consequences of that. You'd be mad to buy these bars
Why the carbon bars suspicion? Clash with the tin foil hat?...
Darwinism in full effect buying cheap carbon tat.
Hell, having seen enough decent carbon bars snap, I still have reservations on them on my trail bike. I stopped using them on the bigger one,
Sonder do carbon bars for sensible money, teeth are too important to risk on Chinese fake
